Bronco Sport First Edition Comes Loaded With Equipment And Unique Touches
While the 2021 Ford Bronco received the bulk of the attention when it was revealed last night, it wasn’t the only new model worthy of our consideration. The Ford Bronco Sport is a formidable little SUV in its own right, and will likely sell quite well once deliveries begin later this year. But for those who want the very best version of this subcompact SUV, the Bronco Sport First Edition is clearly the way to go.
Like the Ford Bronco First Edition, the Bronco Sport First Edition comes loaded to the gills with every available option as standard equipment, along with a few unique touches. It features a starting MSRP of $38,500, and wears unique Shadow Black graphic decals on the hood and sides of the vehicle. Up front, there’s a Carbonized Grey grille with black Bronco lettering, which provides a nice contrast.
On the outside, the Bronco Sport First Edition comes standard with the Safari-style Roof option, body-color door handles, LED lighting, black side mirrors, black roof rack side rails, bash plates, and a Shadow Black roof. The First Edition rolls on 17 inch Ebony Black painted aluminum wheels wrapped in 29 inch Falken Wildpeak A/T tires.
The interior is quite nice as well, wearing Navy Pier leather-trimmed seats with mini-perforations. The front seats are heated, and the driver’s seat is 8 way power adjustable. The First Edition comes standard with dual-zone automatic temperature control, remote start, a power moonroof, wireless charging pad, heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Keeping System, and BLIS with Cross-Traffic Alert.
There are plenty of technology additions inside the First Edition Bronco Sport as well, including a 10-speaker B&O sound system, and SYNC 3 with an 8 inch touchscreen and voice-activated navigation system.
The Bronco Sport First Edition is powered by Ford’s 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder
engine that produces a targeted 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, and is backed up by an 8 speed automatic transmission. Other nifty additions including an off-road tuned suspension, Advanced 4×4 with a twin-clutch rear drive unit, and Trail Control.
For those looking for a feature rich and unique Bronco Sport, the First Edition is a great way to go. It already comes packed with options, and since it’s also a limited edition model, we won’t be seeing a ton of them on the road in the coming years, too.
