Transmission overfilled at factory

Have your transmission fluid level checked by the dealer!!!
I was hearing a whining downshift and a very loud what thought was the turbo pressure relief valve.

Went for an oil change and found a leak. Coming from the top of the transmission at the pressure release valve.

My BS was overfilled by at least 3 qts of trans fluid from the factory!

I no longer have all the noises. Sounds and performs like a vehicle should.

If it happened to one it probably happened to many.

Welcome to the forum @Timj! Thanks a lot for pointing this out and I'm glad to hear there's no more issues with your Bronco Sport.

Did you have to replace any parts to fix the leak or just change the oil? How long have you had yours for?

Only parts they are replacing are the bottom panel and the drivers side panel because the felt is saturated with transmission oil. They checked the fluid level and drained out over 2 quarts of fluid. I’ve had the BS for about 7 weeks. Drive like a scalded dog, now. Love it!
